Rates:

Dog Walk: $27/30 minute walk

Cat Home Visit: $25/30 minute visit which includes kitty litter check

Pet Sitting/House Sitting: Regular Season - $80/per night

Pet Sitting/House Sitting: Holiday Season (November 25th -30th, December 23th - January 2nd) - $97/per night

Potty Break: $25/15 minute break outside

House Check: $20 service provided to check on house/gather mail while out of town without pets present

24 hour cancellation policy - $20.00 fee if cancellation occurs within 24 hrs of visit. Policy applies to all visits. If client cancels visit upon arrival, client will be charged for the scheduled visit

Hello there Prospective Client!

I’m Sara Brown and I have been a professional animal caregiver, house sitter, and love provider since 2018.

While living in Los Angeles, CA I was so fortunate to connect with a privately owned pet care provider, Dog Gone Walkin’ and team up with Katie Rinaldi and her beautiful network of discerning clients that became a true community of like minded animal lovers and their fur babies.

I relocated to WA state in 2019 to Bainbridge Island and immediately connected with the community voted top island Pet Care Service for two decades running, Aunty Min’s Specialized Pet Care and Wags and Wellness (@wagsnwellness) with Mindy Anderson and Janet Davis. There, I continued my incredible life experience of working with animals and their parents in a community of devoted and discerning clients. Providing exercise, attention, cuddles, play, feeding, medications, vet and groomer visits, puppy training, house sitting, errands, and most importantly, all the love, is a profession of daily joy in my life. Now in 2024, offering my services to New York fur parents is exciting and grounding, and a pleasure to be at service in this vibrant community.

House sitting has been an integral part of my animal care services as all of your beloved animals are far more comfortable in their own trusted environments while you are away and the main goal is to manage your pet's anxiety levels and assist in having them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own homes. Maintaining your home in a respectful manner only contributes to keeping that sense of safety and calm in the forefront.

You name it, I've done it in my now six year career as a professional pet care provider. I've worked with and enjoyed big dogs, small dogs, senior dogs, dogs with special needs, dogs with anxiety and behavior signaling. I've trained puppies, potty training, crate training, and walking on leash. I instill a sense of loving command in my awareness and intention with all the dogs I become friends with, whatever the age or temperament. Loving and listening and paying close attention is the key to great pet care and I pride myself in giving excellent, safe, loving care to every animal have the privilege of in being a client.

Let's not forget the cats! I love the kitties as well and adore their mysterious, slinky, wonderful ways in the world. I have an equal amount of love and expertise in cat care and their specific needs in age range, temperament, feeding, meds, litter box cleaning, cuddles, and admiration of their beauty.

I have cared for horses, bunnies, chickens, turtles, tropical fish, iguanas, and hamsters. I love and am curious about each species and how each pet has its own personality and needs, and way of being in the world that I get to assist in the moment.

As part of my service , I am an excellent communicator, always available by phone and text for additional needs or concerns. I respond promptly and always available for questions or feedback. I am always punctual and take the responsibility of your beloved pet seriously. Your trust is an honor and I respect that thoroughly.

I love taking photos and will always send fun updates and portraits of your fur babies and have the assurance that the visit is going great.

I grew up with cats and dogs and cherished those friendships. To be continuing a strong, daily connection with your beloved pets, satisfies my connection to nature and animals, so thank you for that. It's a win/win.
